Who wouldn’t want a foldable phone that can be tucked away in small pockets? Seems like Samsung is all ears for people who want a bendable phone. When the Galaxy Note 8 was launched, Samsung hinted that a bendable phone will be launched soon. It is suspected that the foldable phone will be name Galaxy X and it is going to be here soon!
Apparently, Samsung has been to the Korean authorities to receive certification. According to media reports from Korea, a Samsung model SM-G888N0 has been registered by the South Korean regulatory authorities. Although this certification did not disclose too much information, but it does show that Samsung may release this information next year. The certification does not provide complete information about the shape of the foldable mobile phone. The National Radio Research Agency of South Korea lists devices which are either launching soon or currently available. It is a database which is like a repository.

According to earlier news, Samsung will soon begin testing a dual-screen prototype smartphone. This dual-screen phone is probably Galaxy X. The machine can be expanded at 180 degrees, two AMOLED screens which are connected with a hinge. The R & D work at Samsung has sped up. Samsung has booked a number of mobile phone components, and it can produce about 2000 to 3000 dual-screen devices. Samsung has been talking about the possibility of the introduction of a folding mobile phone since 2012. Samsung has also submitted a number of patents that can be used for folding mobile phones.

Samsung has itself confirmed that it is working on a foldable smartphone. The actual release data is still not confirmed yet. It wont be available till the next year.
